Project / Event Governance
Strengthening oversight, reducing risk and delivering successful outcomes
What We Help You Achieve
We support Boards, executives and business owners to strengthen governance over projects, contracts and events – ensuring risks are managed, performance is monitored and outcomes are delivered on time, on budget and to expected quality.
The Challenge
Major projects, outsourced arrangements and events are becoming increasingly complex, involving multiple stakeholders, third parties and competing priorities.
Without strong governance, oversight and control frameworks, organisations are exposed to cost overruns, delays, performance failures and reputational risk. Importantly, outsourcing activities does not remove organisational accountability. Boards and executives remain responsible for outcomes.
What We Do:
We support organisations through:
- Project and contract governance framework design and HealthChecks
- Contract and project assurance reviews against KPIs and deliverables
- Pre and post implementation reviews of major projects and systems
- Event governance reviews, risk assessments and control framework evaluation
- Procurement and contract management oversight and improvement
- Project reporting, risk monitoring and governance structure design
Outcome:
Clients benefit from:
- Improved visibility and control over project and contract performance
- Early identification and proactive management of emerging risks
- Reduced likelihood of cost, timeline and delivery overruns
- Stronger governance, reporting and accountability frameworks
- Greater confidence in achieving contracted benefits and project outcomes
- Enhanced protection for Boards, executives and contract managers
- Delivery of projects and events on time, on budget and to expected quality
How We Deliver: Our governance reviews and advisory are personally delivered by experienced senior practitioners who bring commercial judgement, independence and practical insight. We work closely with stakeholders to assess governance structures, identify emerging risks and strengthen oversight frameworks - ensuring transparency, accountability and control across the lifecycle of projects, contracts and events.
